Gateway Inc. partners with Reshare Corporation to provide Lighting Gateway Inc. (“LGI”) and Reshare Corporation entered into an exclusive worldwide agreement for the license of Reshare’s Channel Management software solution today, according to Jim Gabbert, CEO, Gabberts Furniture & Design and Chairman, Lighting Gateway Inc. Reshare’s patented business method lies at the center of Lighting Gateway's e-commerce strategies. It enables Lighting manufacturers (called “vendor suppliers” in the industry) to market and sell their products in the online marketplace, directly to end users without circumventing or alienating retail intermediaries. “Reshare’s software assures retailers like Gabberts equitable treatment and compensation from vendor/suppliers who want to respond to consumer demand for direct access to their products via the world wide web and vendor manufacturers' websites," says Gabbert. Jim Gabbert is one of the most respected and successful businessmen in the furniture industry today, widely regarded by this $81 billion industry as a top thinker with a progressive attitude. With stores in Minneapolis, Dallas and Ft. Worth, Texas, Gabberts currently employs 500+ Associates and has annual sales over $80 Million. James has owned and/or operated businesses in the industry as a Manufacturers Representative, Lighting Retailer/Buyer and VP Sales Marketing & Product Development for Manufacturer/Vendor Suppliers. His nationally acclaimed merchandising strategies implemented at Farrey’s Design Galleries, were instrumental in launching the national rollouts of the new “Home Design” retail store models of; “The Great Indoors” by Sears, and “EXPO Design Centers” by Home Depot. James has served on the boards of the American Lighting Association and ART for many years. LGI plans on attending the upcoming Lighting and Accessories Show in Dallas, TX later this month to unveil its plans to industry leaders.
