Karen Beckwith - Past President & CEO, Gelco Information Network, Inc. Karen Beckwith is the former president and CEO of Gelco Information Network, a privately held provider of transaction and information processing systems to corporations and government agencies. Beckwith brings to Reshare a broad background in finance, specifically relating to payment systems and software-as-a-service. Prior to joining Gelco, she also held a number of finance positions at leading companies, including senior vice president of finance and business development and integration for Ceridian Corporation. Previously, Beckwith was also vice president and corporate controller at Deluxe Corporation, and served as a certified public accountant at the company now known as Deloitte & Touche. Beckwith has a proven leadership track record of delivering results. This leadership capability is due to the core skill sets of intellectual capacity, focus, decision making, business judgment, skill assessment and alignment to responsibility, verbal and written communication, and executive presence. Her work style is high-energy and value-added, driven with a sense of urgency. Her management style is collaborative and decisive, focusing on communicating the vision, setting expectations, holding people accountable, removing barricades, being hands-on when required, dealing with tough issues head on, and communicating openly and honestly. Beckwith is described by superiors, peers, and subordinates as a strong, respected leader that any organization is motivated to follow. Beckwith earned a BS, Accounting Major, Emphasis in Computer Science, at St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, MN, 1981, and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She also achieved an MBA at University of Minnesota Executive MBA Program, Minneapolis, MN, 1996 and received her CPA certification in 1982. Beckwith is a strong, respected leader, who was one of the first to embrace the software-as-a-service enterprise business model and champion the competitive benefits that it brings to brands. As a member of the Reshare Leadership Board, Beckwith offers wise counsel as a result of her comprehensive background and passionate belief in Reshare’s patented product. Karen is married to Mark Beckwith and has two children, daughter Janie, and son Charlie.
